New restaurant operator to open at A Blanc after renovation – Täffä Lunch moving into the centre

Shopping centre A Blanc will see development in the coming months: renovation has begun on the side of the building facing Alvar Aalto Park, where three adjacent retail spaces will be combined into one large space. The refurbished premises will host Täffä Lunch, a restaurant with over 150 seats operated by Teknologföreningen (TF). A terrace is also planned for the restaurant.
Shopping centre A Blanc is located by the edge of Alvar Aalto Park.

Täffä Lunch will operate at A Blanc while TF’s own student nation building undergoes renovation. The menu will feature the familiar, iconic Täffä spaghetti, complemented by entirely new dishes. Täffä AB will continue operating as usual, providing catering and bar services in the new premises in the evenings.

The renovation began in early June and is scheduled for completion on September 30. The move of restaurant operations into the premises will likely take place in October, with the exact date to be confirmed later.

Our entire nation and kitchen staff are very excited about what’s ahead. The plan is to operate in A Blanc’s premises for a couple of years while our actual nation building is being renovated,” says Emil Smeds, Head of Finance of the TF Board. “The familiar Täffä spaghetti, for the first time at Alvari Square.

“Täffä Lunch is an excellent addition to A Blanc’s service offering, providing lunch for everyone on campus,” adds Jenna Isokuortti, Head of Leasing and Customer Experience at Aalto University Campus & Real Estate. “We are delighted to welcome Täffä to the center!”
