New restaurant MOO – Middle of Otaniemi has opened in Marsio. MOO offers delicious and responsibly prepared food from morning porridge to late afternoon coffee.

The selection of restaurants in Otaniemi has become wider at the end of August, when the new MOO – Middle of the Otaniemi restaurant opened. MOO is located in a new campus open-to-all meeting place in Marsio. MOO is easy to find on the ground floor of the building right next to the main entrance. 

MOO is open for all and the restaurant offers delicious and responsibly prepared food that reflects the values and diversity of the Aalto community.  Kanresta Oy's restaurant MOO uses fresh, seasonal ingredients and prioritises local products. MOO's daily changing menu is varied and includes several different vegetable, fish and meat options. You can also order catering services for meetings or events from MOO at +358 50 470 2775 or moomyynti@kanresta.fi.


From MOO a meal for every moment of the day:

Breakfast at 8 am
Daily changing organic flake porridge.

Soup and salad buffet from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm
A rich and colourful soup and salad buffet with lots of plant-based protein is available every day.

Bistro lunch from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm
Delicious plates served to the tables.

Cafe and Take-away 
Delicious stuffed bread rolls, croissants, pies etc. with vegetarian and meat options in mind. You can grab products from the self-service display even after the restaurant's closing time.

Lunch benefit for Aalto members:
–10% for Aalto University employees and Aalto University students

The discount does not apply to alcoholic beverages and it is personal. The discount does not apply to products paid for at the self-service checkout outside the restaurant's opening hours. Lunches and café products purchased on invoice are at normal prices.

You can pay with payment cards and the most common mobile payment methods at MOO, cash and paper lunch vouchers are not used.
