Sähkömiehentie 3 (Maari building) address will change, the new address is Sähkömiehentie 5 as of of January 30, 2023.

Maari building in Otaniemi will change address, the new address is Sähkömiehentie 5 (Strömkarlsvägen 5 in Swedish). A new multi-storey car park will be built next to Maari building, as a result of which the address Sähkömiehentie 3 (Maari building) will be changed to Sähkömiehentie 5.

The new multi-storey car park address will be Sähkömiehentie 3. The estimated completion of the multi-storey car park is by the end of 2023.

Maarintalo is a study centre mainly consisting of computer classes and self-study spaces. It is open to students on all days of the week, round the clock. Self-study spaces can be found and booked on the Aalto Space app.

On the second floor, there are several different self-study spaces, some equipped with a conference table, presentation screen, flipchart, and sofa groups, and some with traditional office tables and chairs. In addition, the building has a great lobby area with comfortable sofas with a sea view, if you need a place to relax during the school day.
