PhD Erdal Aydin has been appointed as a five year fixed-term Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering as of 1 September 2026. The field of the professorship is Control and Automation of Chemical Processes.
Erdal received his doctorate from Max Planck Institute, Germany in 2018. After completing his dissertation, he has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Cambridge MA, USA. Most recently, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at Koç University, Turkey.
