Enrolment for the 2025 – 2026 academic year
All students who are studying towards a degree at Aalto University must make a separate annual enrolment for each of their valid rights to study. For detailed instructions on enrolment, see the Student Guide.
Bachelor’s and master’s degree students who enrol as attending must pay a student healthcare fee to Kela, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland. As no separate billing is sent, you must remember to pay the Kela fee on your own initiative once every term, see the instructions on Kela's webpage.
Tuition-fee students must pay the tuition fee before they can enrol for the academic year. Tuition-fee students will not receive an invoice for the tuition fee. Instead, they are expected to make the payment through a designated payment portal as instructed by the university. For more information and detailed instructions, see Paying the tuition fee.
