Art students and recent graduates from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture and the University of the Arts Helsinki are organizing an art festival, Art For All Festival, that will be organized 20-22.8.2021 at Malmi airport. The festival features pieces from performing arts to installations and audiovisual works. Would you be interested in participating in the festival either in the festival team or by submitting your art?

Art For All ry

Art For All ry is a community of artists that aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of art and culture. The organisation has been started by art students and alumni from both the University of the Arts Helsinki and Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.

Open call for artists

Art For All is organizing an open call for artists to the festival. The artists will be selected after the deadline on Friday 9.7.2021 and their works will be combined into a cohesive whole. The artists will have time to prepare during July and August. During this time the working groups will be guided in designing their works in the space.          

Hangar residency

During 16.8-19.8. the artists will work and build up their pieces in the hangar. The working process of the artists is an important part of the event. While working in the hangar the artists will learn from each other. The festival opening will be held on Friday 20.8 and the hangar doors will be open during the weekend.
