In memory of Pekka Mattila, Professor of Marketing at the School of Business, these merit-based scholarships are aimed at particularly talented students admitted to the School of Business Master’s Programme in Marketing or Master’s Programme in International Management who are liable to pay tuition fees.

The Pekka Mattila Excellence Scholarships consist of a €3,000 relocation grant, paid at the beginning of the degree programme.

‘Our school's role as an internationally prominent educator was close to Pekka's heart. With these scholarships, we promote both marketing and internationality, the latter one being extremely important for the whole society, too. Through these scholarships and their recipients, Pekka's name will live on in our school's everyday life, in addition to his many achievements,’ Timo Korkeamäki, Dean of the School of Business says.
