Aalto continues as an HR Excellence in Research organisation

University’s academic faculty HR practices conform to EU’s quality specifications.

Aalto University has passed its first evaluation connected with the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research award.

The award was first given to Aalto University in 2012 after participating in an EU project, during which it modified and developed the recruiting principles and HR practices of its academic faculty so that they conform to the EU's quality specifications.

The acknowledgement includes internal and external evaluations of HR processes every two years. Aalto University was the first Finnish university to become an HR Excellence in Research organisation. There are 230 organisations that hold this award across the whole of Europe.
