The team is developing patented solutions that revolutionize EV battery recycling by enabling safe storage, automated discharging, and eco-friendly and efficient recycling processes

1. Safe storage and automated discharging

Used Electric Vehicle batteries pose a fire hazard both during the storage and recycling process. Before the process is started, the first step is always to discharge the batteries. Processes today are unsafe, time-consuming, and resource-heavy. Our solution addresses this challenges by enabling safe and automated discharge of batteries while stored before the recycling process begins.

2. Superior recovery of the active materials

Materials recovery solutions today rely on high temperatures and/or strong chemical usage, resulting in a Lithium recovery rate of single percentage points only. Our patented solution utilizes water tanks and ultrasonication, achieving a recovery rate of up to 72%. As we continue to refine our superior recovery process we also explore opportunities to recover other active materials beyond Lithium.
