‘My studies at Aalto University gave me an excellent competence base and skills for my career. I still remember how, on the first day of studies, we applied physics freshmen were told, "Here you’ll learn how to learn." It’s not only about what we learn, but also about how important continuous learning and development is.
Master’s and doctoral studies in machine learning, research in a top group and minor subject studies in software systems and industrial engineering and management provided me with a very strong foundation for both technical and management roles in my career, and also for roles with commercial responsibility.
I still remember my studies with warmth and gratitude. I also want to help new students and continue to be involved in Aalto's activities.’
