Esa Saarinen, a philosopher, Coach, author and Professor Emeritus at Aalto University, lectured at Aalto for 20 years. His lectures gathered thousands of listeners, amongst them were some of Finland's elite in economics, science and business.
Among his many accolades is the fact that at the age of 24 he became one of the youngest people in Finland to defend his doctoral thesis on logic and the philosophy of language.
Esa Saarinen is a philosopher, business coach, author and Professor Emeritus at Aalto University.
He has been a media star in Finland since the 80s giving his unique philosopher’s opinion on a variety of topics. In 1997 Esa at the age of 24 became one of the youngest people in Finland to defend his doctoral thesis on logic and the philosophy of language.
Esa began lecturing at Aalto in 2001 and held his last lecture Ja Aurinko Nousee (And the sun rises) in March 2021. Of his lecture, Esa said “I am referring to the beauty I have been allowed to serve. And maybe to life anyway.”
Over the years Saarinen’s lectures have gathered thousands of listeners, many of whom are Finland’s elite in economics, science and business.
Esa will discuss themes such as thinking about thinking, thinking about the individual and society, and how to thrive as a group.
