Aalto Alumni Ambassadors play an integral role in strengthening our international alumni community. Our Ambassadors are proactive alumni who are interested in staying up-to-date about the university’s activities and developments also when living abroad. Alumni Ambassadors embody the spirit of Aalto by being active members of our global network.

As an Ambassador, you can expect to have some of the following tasks, depending on your interests.

  • Acting as a local contact point in your country or area.
  • Helping to organise local alumni get-togethers when Aalto University travels in your area.
  • Organising casual meetups or after-works for Aalto alumni living in your area.
  • Sharing your experiences and local knowledge for current and future Aalto students and alumni who consider moving to your area of residence.

Interested in becoming an Aalto Alumni Ambassador?

  1. Fill out the Aalto Alumni Ambassador application form. In the application, we ask you to summarise your background and list the tasks that you’re interested in as an Ambassador.
  2. After submitting the form, someone from our Alumni Engagement team will get in touch with you. If needed, we can agree on a short Teams call to talk through the Ambassador’s roles and responsibilities.
  3. You will receive the materials needed in the Ambassador role via email.
  4. Your profile is added on Aalto Alumni Ambassador page. The page is public and its main audience are Aalto University’s students and alumni.

Would you like to share your study experiences with young people all over the world who are interested in studying at Aalto? Alumni can also join the chat service with student ambassadors who want to help prospective students. Read more about Unibuddy and contact us if you are interested.

Below is a list of our current Alumni Ambassadors. We do not have a quota for Ambassadors in each country, so we welcome you to submit the Ambassador form even if there already was an Ambassador listed in your country or area.
