Join us for first-ever joint alumni get-together of Aalto University and University of Helsinki at FinnFest 2024. This special event aims to celebrate our vibrant community, share the latest news from Aalto and Finland, and explore opportunities for alumni engagement in North America.

Dear Aalto University alum,  

We are happy to invite you to the joint alumni get-together of Aalto University and University of Helsinki at FinnFest 2024.  

Date: Friday, July 26 
Time: 5.30-7.30 PM   
Place: FinnFest, Duluth, Minnesota  

Over the years, Aalto University has organized several alumni get-togethers around the world. These events strengthen our community and inspire our alumni to engage with the university in various meaningful ways.  We are now seeking individuals to act as Aalto alumni ambassadors in North America to unite and add value to our community. 

Join us for this first of its kind get-together! We look forward to sharing with you the latest news from Aalto and Finland, answering your study-related questions and, most importantly, hearing about your endeavors.

You are more than welcome to bring a friend. Light refreshments will be served at the event.

On their high school tour, the Aalto Guild of Physics ran into Antero Hietamäki in the teachers' room in Jyväskylä. Hietamäki, now the Administrative Head of the Teacher Training School, was a student of engineering physics and mathematics in the 1980s.
