Training for teachers: We have an IDEA - Instructional Design Elementary Application

Unite! Teaching and Learning offers 12 pedagogical training sessions for Aalto University teachers including PhDs and post-docs with teaching responsibility. We have an IDEA - Instructional Design Elementary Application takes place on 18 and 22 October. Workload is 10 hours including presentations, teamwork, group presentation and peer feedback.
Climate Kick Summer School 2017

Unite! Teaching and Learning is a series of training activities aimed at teaching staff, lecturers and faculty in all Unite! partner institutions (including Ph.D. students and postdocs involved with teaching), who are interested in sharing and developing teaching and learning practices. We invite you to meet Unite! colleagues while learning how teaching and learning is promoted at different partner universities.

The training is run by Ing. Maria Giulia Ballatore, Prof. Igor Stievano, and Prof. Anita Tabacco from Politecnico di Torino. The learning outcomes include:

  • familiarize with Instructional Design,

  • reflect on course contents and organization,

  • use of the role play,

  • use of a gamified environment and 

  • revise teaching strategy under student’s perspective.

The activities – webinars, courses and training events – are run by pedagogical experts from the partner universities and are free of charge for the Unite! community. All “Unite! Teaching and Learning” activities are in English. Some of the activities will award credits.
