Training for teachers: Make students active even online

Unite! Teaching and Learning offers 12 pedagogical training sessions for Aalto University teachers including PhDs and post-docs with teaching responsibility. Make students active even online takes place on 16 September and includes 5 hours of peer activity in groups and self-study activities.
Unite! - building a European university of the future

Unite! Teaching and Learning is a series of training activities aimed at teaching staff, lecturers and faculty in all Unite! partner institutions (including Ph.D. students and postdocs involved with teaching), who are interested in sharing and developing teaching and learning practices. We invite you to meet Unite! colleagues while learning how teaching and learning is promoted at different partner universities.

Make students active even online 16th of September at 13.30-17.00 CET

This session is run by Dr. Fanny Poinsotte from University of Grenoble. The learning outcomes include:

  • Share around the issues of active learning.

  • To identify the specific difficulties of distance learning

  • Propose elements of solutions and tools to facilitate the activity of online students.

Registration

Registration deadline is 25 August, 2021. Registration and all course materials are available through Unite! Metacampus. You will first need to register as a user before you can enroll to the training. 

The activities – webinars, courses and training events – are run by pedagogical experts from the partner universities and are free of charge for the Unite! community. All “Unite! Teaching and Learning” activities are in English. Some of the activities will award credits.
