The Campus on a Sustainable Path
In our events, we are committed to Aalto University’s principles for a safer space.
The event will feature the latest on developing a sustainable campus and the City of Espoo’s newest updates in sustainable mobility. We’ll start with light breakfast at 8:30, with an opportunity to talk with experts from the City of Espoo’s Sustainable Mobility team. The event will also celebrate the selection of this year’s Campus Sustainability Champion – now for the tenth time!
We’ll begin the main program at 9:00:
- Opening of the event and updates on sustainable campus
- Towards sustainable mobility: a shared journey between the city and the individual / City of Espoo
- Announcement of the Campus Sustainability Champion
- Guided tour of the Designs for a Cooler Planet exhibition, at 10:00 and 10:30*
- Aalto University’s largest exhibition of the year, where students and researchers present bold experiments, new perspectives, and concrete solutions that change the world.
*Please note: If needed, we will arrange two tours at 10:00 and 10:30 (if the first tour fills up). Maximum 20 participants per tour.
The program is subject to change. The event language is English.
The Campus Sustainability Team warmly welcomes you to the event!
