Product Design Gala 2020

For 23 years the Product Development Project PdP has brought students of engineering, design, and business together to tackle industry problems and develop state of the art solutions to real problems. At the Product Design Gala you’ll get to witness and experience these awesome products. So come and fall in love with the results of our interdisciplinary Product Development Project teams in the Product Design Gala!

Student teams from Aalto University and our partner universities have been working hard for the last 9 months, to complete their design challenges given by industrial companies and other collaborating parties. In the public exhibition or online you will have a chance to hear about the teams’ accomplishments and process, as well as to get familiar with the people themselves together with their amazing prototypes.

The Gala takes place at the Design Factory and Urban Mill on 4 September. Please come to the exhibition only if you are healthy and haven’t been abroad for 14 days.

You can join remotely here. We aim to give the virtual attendees a similar experience and access to the students as in an in-person event, without needing to leave your desk. You can join the channels of each PDP team and get to know the students, check their booths, and listen about their projects.
