Online conference on AI-Ready Graduates and Future of Education

Join us for the 2nd Unite!-Ed Future Conference, titled Reimagining Education for AI-Ready graduates, which brings together researchers and educators to explore the future of university education.
Three people collaborate with documents and a tablet in a modern, green-lit space. One holds a coffee cup.

This year’s conference will feature a range of presentations, workshops, and discussions focusing on key themes such as digital and hybrid learning environments, student-centred education, and sustainable development. The event will serve as a matchmaking platform for professionals interested in collaborative teaching initiatives and joint academic programmes.

Capacity building in pedagogy is more important than ever, and this conference will provide an opportunity for educators to exchange ideas, share best practices, and engage with new strategies for preparing students for an AI-integrated future.

The event is organised by the Unite! university alliance and will feature a set of teaching projects that have received seed funding from Unite!.

The conference will open with a keynote speech by Henriikka Vartiainen, university lecturer and senior researcher at the University of Eastern Finland, and Matti Tedre, professor of computer science at the University of Eastern Finland. They will discuss how AI is already embedded in everyday systems and why education must integrate AI literacy proactively. This will be followed by a series of presentations and workshops in parallel tracks.
