Let concrete surprise you! Betoni–Concrete presents the material as more than a grey mass
The exhibition shakes up traditional conceptions of concrete and presents the material's production, research and use as well as related teaching from the point of view of engineers, architects, designers and artists.

Works featured in the exhibition are created by Aalto University students, alumni, teachers and professors. Sustainable development as well as the exploitation of automation and digitalisation are important areas of concrete research. The exhibition also presents recent findings from researchers who study the material.
Videos, posters and a variety of concrete objects show this centuries old material as it is today, renewed and thriving.
The exhibition is open 23 January–7 March 2020 during Dipoli's opening hours (Mon–Thurs 7.45–20.00, Fri 7.45–18.00 and Sat 10.30–15.00).
