The PHYS Diversity Team invites everyone to a social breakfast event honoring International Women's Day on 8. March 2024.

Our guest speaker, Dr. Kirsi Mantua-Kommonen will join us and tell us about her experience working between disciplines, about motherhood and a university career, about values and courage. Kirsi is currently working with Senior University Lecturer Janne Halme on an interdisciplinary project about natural dyes combining physics, chemistry, arts and business. Besides being a researcher and teacher, Kirsi is also a mother and campaigner in her life outside of university.

Come and join us to hear Kirsi's story!

Breakfast will be served at 9.00, the talk will start at 9.30 and followed by questions.

Vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options are included in the breakfast.
