Helsinki Vision 2026 - Visual Neuroscience in Health and Disease
Helsinki Vision 2026 takes place from 16-18 of September at the University of Helsinki, bringing together retinal physiology, neural degeneration research and clinical innovation,
This is a focused international forum, jointly organized by University of Helsinki and Aalto University, where scientists and ophthalmologists meet around one question: how can a deeper understanding of retinal circuits reshape early diagnosis and treatment of blinding disease? Sessions cover retinal physiology, vision neuroscience, biomarkers and imaging for retinal disease, and the pathways linking the eye to sleep, mood, and systemic health.
Set in the distinctive atmosphere of a Nordic late summer, the meeting is designed to support both scientific exchange and real, informal connection among participants.
