Resilience, innovation and leadership through change
Health Design is a multidisciplinary healthcare innovation event connecting health, design and technology professionals with service providers, industry, startups, investors and policy makers. Founded in 2017 by Northbay, Healthtech Finland, Aalto University and HUS, it has grown into one of the leading healthcare innovation events in the Nordic and Baltic region.
The two-day programme combines keynotes, panels and hands-on workshops across two venues: University of Helsinki and Aalto University.
Health Design also hosts Health_Spin_, one of the leading pitching competitions in the New Nordics for research spinouts and startups. Since 2017, the competition has awarded €90K in grants and opened up to €200K in investment opportunities since 2024.
