Organizations with inclusive culture are much more likely to have high performing teams and to support the well-being of their employees. Inclusion fosters openness, psychological safety, and a sense of belonging, welcoming new ideas, and making sure that everyone’s voice is being heard. Building inclusion is not just a state of mind and it requires understanding and actions both in individual and organization level. To build inclusive workplaces, we need to learn both about behavioral and structural inclusion and what are steps that all of us can do to be more inclusive for others.
In April 2021, two trainings / workshops will be organized for Aalto's service personnel, which will deal with the promotion of diversity and inclusion in the work community. We recommend participating in both, but only participation in the other is also possible.
In this workshop we will go through some theory, practical examples, group discussion and different exercises.
