In our events, we are committed to Aalto University’s principles for a safer space.

Most people use AI one question at a time: prompt in, answer out, done. An agent can take the whole workflow off your plate. Think literature scans, data cleaning and first-draft summaries, running in the background while you focus on the research only you can do.

Join this hands-on workshop for researchers on Wed 14.10. to learn how agents work and how to build one for your own work!

We kick off with an introduction to agents, followed by dedicated time to build your own — with hosts around to help debug and a chance to demo what you made. Lunch will be served after the introduction so you can continue building into the afternoon without breaking your flow.

For who: This event is open to all researchers at Aalto and the Aalto Inventors community.

Skill level: Intermediate — you've used Claude or another AI tool before but you don't have to be familiar with building agents.

Seats are limited, so registration is required. Sign up here to secure your seat!

The workshop is run by Olivia Rönnemaa and Meri Heikkinen from Prompt, a movement of builders bringing the AI frontline to Finland. The event is co-organized with Aalto Inventors, innovation program designed for early-career researchers to explore the impact of their work.

Five people sit around a café table with laptops, working together in a bright room with plants and chandeliers.
