Aawsum!

Awesome summer party for all Aalto students!
AAWSUM
Aawsum! campus

June is the time for university celebrations. In the Ceremony Week this year, instead of the Graduation Party and ceremonial conferments, we invite all Aalto University students and newly graduated to participate to awesome Aawsum!

It’s been a tough year, and we deserve a moment to relax. Aawsum! is an entertaining meeting point for all, and specifically first year Aalto students but all students are warmly welcome.

In Aawsum! you can celebrate your achievements with old and new friends, take a virtual tour on campus, get a grip on student association and club action, cheer your fellow students online. And above all, spend a summer afternoon together.

Programme

(16.15) Main stage: Warm-up with DJ Henqi
16.30 - 17.00 Main stage: The Aawsum! programme includes A!Top music video premier, interviews and summer greetings
17.00 - 17.30 Cruise the rooms: Find new hobbies like pole dancing or Japanese culture
17.30 - 18.00 Main stage: DJ Henqi tunes to enjoy

The programme is broadcast live from campus. The link below leads you to simple registration page or you can attend as anonymous. But remember, your friends cannot recognise you in chats if you are anonymous.

Please feel free to share this page with your Aalto friends and set up a virtual Aawsum! party together on e.g. Zoom.

Tips for the best virtual event experience

  1. We recommend using computer to participate in the virtual event. The experience on mobile devices  does not have all the functions.
  2. For the ultimate experience we recommend using Google Chrome. Please make sure you have an updated browser.
  3. It is recommended not to keep other software or tabs open during the event.
  4. If you are experiencing audio or video issues, refreshing your browser or restarting your browser will help.
  5. Firewalls might interfere the virtual event platform sessions. Allow UDP –connections from jcb.liveto.io from gate 30300-30500.
  6. If you have problems entering the event, contact Minna Pajari: minna.pajari (at) aalto.fi, 050 571 0526.
