2D Day: Experimental and Theoretical Research on 2D Quantum Materials and Related Systems
2D Day on May 19 features informal talks presenting experimental, theoretical and computational research at Aalto related to 2D quantum materials.
The goal is to facilitate information exchange and networking between Aalto groups and other interested parties.
This meeting is completely free and open to all. Doctoral students and postdocs are particularly encouraged to participate!
To facilitate coffee breaks, please send email to marita.halme@aalto.fi before 14 May so that we can get an estimate on the total number of participants.
List of confirmed speakers:
Ken Elder, Pertti Hakonen, Arsalan Hashemi, Zhi-Feng Huang, Guodong Jiang (Päivi Törmä’s group), Mikko Karttunen, Jose Lado, N.N. (Peter Liljerooth’s group), Zhipei Sun, Anton Zasedatelev.
The meeting is organised by Professor Tapio Ala-Nissilä from the Department of Applied Physics.
