Constitutional Hedges of Intellectual Property (CONST-IP) will provide the first integrative analysis of how intellectual property (IP) is protected through constitutional measures based on:

Constitutional Hedges of Intellectual Property (CONST-IP) will provide the first integrative analysis of how intellectual property (IP) is protected through constitutional measures based on:

  • human rights law, particularly protection of property ownership;

  • investment treaties; and

  • certain constitutional-type provisions of trade and IP treaties and EU IP instruments.

The project is funded by the Academy of Finland and led by the Faculty of Law in University of Turku. Principal investigator is Professor of European Economic Law Tuomas Mylly. Project duration is 48 months starting from 1st of September 2016, and ends by 31st of August, 2020.
