Vikash is an Associate Professor of Management Accounting at the Aalto University School of Business. He holds dual Ph.D. degrees—one in Industrial Economics and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and another in Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
Vikash’s research focuses on the practices, standards, regulations, and digital transformations (including ERP, AI, and blockchain technologies) in accounting and auditing, with a particular emphasis on the linkages between control mechanisms (e.g., risk management or audit) and corporate governance. His work explores the institutional, social, organizational, and ethical dimensions of accounting and auditing practices. In addition to his academic research, Vikash draws on over eight years of professional experience in Management and Technology Consulting, where he specialized in Operational Automation, Financial Assessment, Transaction Advisory, and Risk Management for clients in the Banking and Financial Services sector.
