Matti Rudanko

Matti Rudanko is a Professor of Private Law at the Aalto University School of Business (1998 - 2018), nowadays professor emeritus. He is also Docent of Civil Law at the University of Helsinki (since 1990). He served as the Head of the Department of Accounting at the Aalto University School of Business from 2010 to 2012. As a scientific supervisor, he finds great inspiration in the methodological skills of both doctoral students and students writing their Master’s theses. In his own research, he focuses on sustainability law, contract and damages law, financial markets law and the interface between competition law and civil law, specifically regarding the damages liability of cartels. He is also interested in broadening his methodological perspectives and adopting new research tools, especially for the research of digital norms and AI.
