Student & Alumni Networking Event - for Master's Students
The idea of the Student & Alumni Networking Event is to encourage Finnish and international students to network with alumni and be inspired by their diverse career paths in Finland. The event provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the diversity of positions with similar study backgrounds and which companies in Finland hire international students from your field.
Join and establish professional networks at the Student & Alumni Networking Events in Fall 2025
The Student & Alumni Networking Event is designed especially for first-year international master’s students – but Finnish students are also warmly welcome! At the event, international and Finnish master’s students have the opportunity to network with Aalto University alumni who are currently working in Finland and who have graduated from the same school.
Creating professional networks during your studies is crucial for future employment, especially for international students. The event provides an excellent platform for building these networks. Come and listen to inspiring career stories, learn about the career paths that international alumni from your school have built in Finland – and enjoy a cup of coffee!
The event includes an opening session, a panel discussion where alumni discuss topics related to the Finnish working life, and free networking.
Student & Alumni Networking Events in Fall 2025
This year, the Student & Alumni Networking Event will be held in three different schools:
- Thu 23.10.2025, 4:30-6:30 PM: Student & Alumni Networking Event, School of Engineering (only for international students)
- Mon 3.11.2025, 4:30-6:30 PM: Student & Alumni Networking Event, School of Chemical Engineering
- Wed 19.11. 2025, 5:00-7:00 PM: Student & Alumni Networking Event, School of Electrical Engineering
- Thu 27.11, 4:30 - 6:30 PM: Student & Alumni Networking Event, School of Science
