Ilmari Hakkola and Eino Hakkola

My thesis progressed at the same pace as this little guy grew in my spouse's tummy. For the last week I got to write in the company of the world's sweetest little boy, who acted as my source of inspiration.

‘My thesis progressed at the same pace as this little guy grew in my spouse's tummy: the return date for my thesis and my first-born's due date were on the same day. In the end, our son was born one week before my thesis was complete. Even so, everything went well and for the last week I got to write in the company of the world's sweetest little boy, who acted as my source of inspiration. Today, we attended the graduation ceremony together and picked up dad's Master's degree certificate.’
