Accessibility of Rakentajanaukio 4
Rakentajanaukio 4 is mainly used for School of Engineering, Aalto University Campus & Real Estate (ACRE) and some other tenants.
The accessible entrance to Rakentajanaukio 4 is the door at the left end when viewed from the front of the building. The door opens automatically by showing your access token. You can contact the lobby service if necessary.
The main lobby is spacious and well-lit, with enough free space inside and outside the door for easy movement, e.g. with a wheelchair.
There is an accessible toilet right next to the accessible entrance. An elevator that can accommodate a wheelchair and a possible companion can be used with the help of the lobby service. The buttons in the elevator are at a suitable height. No voice control.
There is a small elevator in the main lobby (for 1-2 people) that cannot accommodate a wheelchair. To get into the elevator, you must open the door (no automatic opening/button). The buttons in the elevator are at a suitable height. No voice control.
Parking and arrival
Parking for people with reduced mobility is located in the courtyard between Otakaari 3 and Rakentajanaukio 4. The route is spacious and clear.
There is no separately marked stopping point for escort vehicles, but escort vehicles can temporarily stop in front of the accessible door or the main door.
