Adobe Software
Adobe applications are installed on almost all public computers in ARTS. In general the license does not allow use on students' own computers except via VDI even though some exceptions do exist.
More Information
On classroom machines, Adobe programs cannot be launched through Adobe Creative Cloud. You need to proceed as follows:
- Open the desired program directly (e.g. Photoshop)
- Enter Aalto email-address (program redirects to Aalto website)
- Enter password on Aalto website
- The Adobe program starts if login was successful
When you end the working session, you should carefully log out from of the Adobe interface and quit the program. Otherwise opening an Adobe program on another machine can lead to problems and may require you to enter your log-in ID several times before the program starts.
If you are logged on to another computer, you can log out from that computer on Adobe's website

- InCopy: Collaborate with copywriters and editors.
- InDesign: Page design and layout for print and digital publishing.
- Lightroom: Edit, organize, store, and share photos from anywhere.
- Lightroom Classic: Desktop-focused photo editing.
- Media Encoder: Quickly output video files for virtually any screen.
- Photoshop: Edit, composite, and create beautiful images, graphics, and art.
- Prelude: Metadata ingest, logging, and rough cuts.
- Premiere Pro: Edit and craft polished films and video.
- Premiere Rush: Create and share online videos anywhere.
