Aalto joint academic activities

Aalto University’s joint academic activities (JAAs) consist of Aalto University Junior, Language Centre, Aalto University Open University, Aalto University Design Factory, Aalto Ventures Program, and Galleries. These joint units cover a range of multidisciplinary areas that support Aalto University's advancement in academic and research activities and impact creation.

Language Centre

The Language Centre is a joint teaching and service unit for languages and communications at Aalto University both for students and staff. The goal of the Language Centre is to provide students and staff with such language and communication skills that give a strong foundation for success in both studies and in the world of work.

Aalto University Open University

Open University courses are open to everyone regardless of background or age. Open University offers individual courses in Business, Technology, Languages, and Art and Design. Students are admitted to individual courses in the order of registration.
