Jere Mäkinen, M.Sc.(Tech.), will defend the dissertation "Dynamics and vortex structures in topological superfluid 3He at ultra-low temperatures and under confinement" on Friday 1 March 2019 at 12 noon at the Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall T2, Konemiehentie 2, Espoo. In the dissertation, quantized vortex structures and their dynamics were studied in superfluid helium-3, concentrating on ultra-cold temperatures and samples in confined geometry.
