Creative Sustainability Capstone

Improving project-based and multidisciplinary Capstone course.

Overview

During the three-month course students worked intensively in multidisciplinary teams to find creative solutions to real-life social and environmental challenges brought by partner organizations. The development project aimed at securing a systematic procedure, consistent project briefs and improved documentation of clients and projects to maintain the high quality of projects also in the future.

Master's level course.

How does this course promote work-life connections?

The students work with external clients and real-life problems. This year students were able to choose from six different client driven projects related to diverse applications of sustainability.

Teaching methods

Project work, Design Diamond process, and oral and written reporting.
