Zhou-jun Wang

Dr. Zhou-jun Wang is an Associate Professor in College of Chemical Engineering and State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) since 2013. He was educated and trained at Tianjin University, Texas A & M University, College Station and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences before joining BUCT. He was a visiting scholar at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) during 2017-2018. His research interests focus on energy and environmental catalysis based on thermal and photo-thermo processes. His current research activities include (i) structural design and mechanism study of Ni-based catalyst for CO2 reforming and methanation; (ii) coupling of solar energy and thermal energy for CO2 conversion, and (iii) synthesis of novel SiC supports for catalytic applications in C1 chemistry. He served as Guest Editors in Catalysis Today and Topics in Catalysis.
