Zebao Rui

Zebao Rui is a professor of Sun Yat-sen University. He received PhD degree in Industrial Catalysis from Tianjin University supervised by Prof. Y.S. Lin and Prof. Y.D. Li in 2010. He joined Sun Yat-sen University as an assistant professor (2010), associate professor (2014) and full professor (2019) of Chemical Engineering. He was also a visiting research fellow of Arizona State University (with Prof. Y.S. Lin). He is now the principle investigator of Sincerely Do Catalysis (SDC) Lab and vice director of Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center for Platform Chemicals from Marine Biomass and Their Functionalization. He served as a guest editor for Catalysis Today and the youth editorial board for Chinese Chemical Letters. He has published 80 referred papers in chemical engineering and environmental catalysis journals, 30 Chinese patents and more than 60 conference proceeding papers. His research interests include photo-thermal synergistic catalytic oxidation for VOCs mineralization and methane oxidation to high-value added products.
