Trip to Lithium Industry Workshop in Würzburg

Group members recently attended a workshop to learn about the state of European lithium manufacturing chain.

Recycling of lithium from battery waste is one of the focuses in the research group of Hydrometallurgy and Corrosion where different extraction and recovery methods aiming at the production of lithium end products are being investigated. Recently, members of the group visited Competitiveness in Lithium Industry Workshop (https://eitrawmaterials.eu/events/competitiveness-in-lithium-industry/) in Würzburg, Germany for a fresh look at the state of the European lithium manufacturing chain.
