Telecom Forum 2015 – open studia generalia course

The course handles hot topics in the Internet and wireless information technology. The opening lecture is on Tuesday 22nd, September.

Telecom Forum 2015 is a studia generalia course in English, hosted by the Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering and its Department of Communication and Networking Technology (Comnet).

The course handles hot topics in the Internet and wireless information technology, including global and national trends, product, business and technology strategies and covers issues from recent advances in research to the social, economic and legal impact of the application of the latest technology.

The guest speakers are leaders in their fields, scientists, innovators, and business and technology officers in their companies. The introduction guest lecture speaker is  Horace Dediu, Asymco.com, and the topic: The Modularity Revolution. How markets are created?

The learning outcome of the course is that the student can discuss the general strategy and policy issues of the Internet, and the wireless information technology.

When and where?

on Tuesdays at 17:15–18:45, at at the School of Electrical Engineering, Otakaari 5 A, Espoo, in the Lecture Hall S4.
