Short summary of what is happening at Aalto and in the national Open Science Coordination.
Aalto University has published two new policies: Policy on Open Learning Materials and Policy on Open Research Infrastructures.

- Open Science Coordination organises a webinar series on open education and open educational materials: Avoimen oppimisen webinaarit | Avoin tiede (in Finnish).
- Two recommendations on accessibility of open educational environments and quality of open education are open for comments: Oppimisen avoimuuden suosituksia kommentoitavana | Avoin tiede (in Finnish).
The policy for open access to theses is also open for commenting. The objective of the policy is that the archivable part of all theses approved from 2024 onwards will in principle be openly accessible.
The 2-year project on open science reference architecture is being finalised. The current material is available in Avoimen tieteen ja tutkimuksen Viitearkkitehtuuri 2030 versio 0.1 - Finn-ARMA - Eduuni-wiki (in Finnish).
