Her work is a part of the ongoing TexirC Project, which focuses on advancing sustainable textile processing.

Under the supervision of Professor Ali Tehrani, Head of the Textile Chemistry Group, and guided by advisors Professor Tapani Vuorinen and Dr. Md. Reazuddin Repon, Elsa explored methods to efficiently remove dye from cotton materials while preserving fabric quality. During her presentation, she shared promising results demonstrating both effective color stripping and successful upscaling, highlighting the potential industrial relevance of her findings.

Elsa expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the group’s research efforts. She praised the strong mentorship she received throughout the project and acknowledged the value of the group’s well-equipped laboratory facilities, which supported her experimental work.

Attendees congratulated her on the significant achievements of her thesis and extended their best wishes for her future endeavors, recognizing her contribution to advancing textile chemistry and sustainable textile processing.
