Isla’s Research Achievements Celebration
On Thursday, 28 August, Isla Lizett Rodríguez Banda, a summer intern in the Textile Chemistry Group, presented the results of her research work. Her work explored the use of solvents for color stripping of disperse dye from polyester fabrics.
The session was chaired by Professor Ali Tehrani, Head of the Textile Chemistry Group.
Following her presentation, Isla was presented with a souvenir bearing the Aalto University logo, in recognition of her valuable contributions. In her remarks, she expressed sincere gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the Textile Chemistry Group, emphasizing both the excellent mentorship she received and the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities that supported her research.
The event concluded with warm congratulations from all attendees, who commended Isla for her dedication and wished her continued success in her academic and professional journey.
