Improvements to the usability of Windows desktop workstations

On Thursday 30.3.2017 starting at 5 pm new settings will be deployed to the Windows desktop workstations used by university staff and faculty.

Research workstations are not included, because they already have these settings. The new settings will improve the usability of the workstation by boosting up the performance in various applications. During the deployment of the settings, some user data needs to be copied from the network to the workstation which takes approximately 5 minutes. The workstation is not usable during the copy but the user can delay the copying until the next logon.
