Department of Finance application for Academy of Finland Research Centre of Excellence accepted to second round

34 research units still in competition to become Centre of Excellence. In its previous call, the Academy of Finland accepted 14 applications.

In the first stage 179 plans of intent were sent to the Academy of Finland’s application process for a Centre of Excellence. The plans of intent were reviewed by international experts in the fields concerned.

The Academy of Finland’s general subcommittee then decided which applications go through to the second stage. The Department of Finance’s application was among those 34 selected.

Deadline for stage two full applications is February 1st, 2017.
