About the minor
This minor allows students enrolled in a master's program in engineering or the sciences to develop the skills to understand business, management, entrepreneurship and innovation topics, which are often necessary when working in companies after graduation. The minor is built in a way that students can choose a foundation: entrepreneurship or technology management, and then pick from a large set of courses to broaden and deepen their skills.
- Build a foundation in understanding business and management either from a technology entrepreneurship or technology management perspective
- Develop the skills for managing and leading technology-based business initiatives in an entrepreneurship or corporate context
- Develop a holistic understanding of the process from idea to business through a project-based course
- Deepen the knowledge in areas such as product development and management, project management, finance, or corporate venturing
