Description of the minor
Students will develop their personal expression through the work processes of comics expression, narrative methods and writing. Students will also be introduced to the history of comics, contemporary comic art and artists of today. After the minor, Comics Project ‐course provides students a possibility of creating an independent comics project.
Intended learning outcomes
After completing the minor, students will be able to utilize storytelling as well as visual and comics expression in creative work. They will be able to work on an independent comics project.
Content description
The student completes the mandatory courses for a minor, totaling 18 credit points.
The students who complete the minor in English, will study the History of Comics course by reading a package of literature and writing an essay.
