Content and structure of the minor
The Building Technology Minor offers students good overall knowledge within the field of civil and structural engineering. The programme involves education in structural engineering, building physics, construction management and building materials.
Upon completion of the Minor in Building Technology, the student will comprehend the fundamental physical phenomena in structural and thermal performance of buildings, and use the engineering methods for their assessment. He or she can also describe and use the management methods for construction processes.
Further information is available from Professor Gerhard Fink (gerhard.fink@aalto.fi).
