About the minor

Description of the minor

The Art and Media minor introduces students to the diverse and evolving field of art and media. It provides insight into contemporary practices and interdisciplinary theoretical, philosophical, and practical approaches. Through a range of course options, students explore the multifaceted nature of art and media and develop an integrated understanding of its contexts and practices whether in areas like the game industry, everyday aesthetics, sustainability, or art–science collaboration.

Intended learning outcomes

The minor in Art and Media give students the means to utilize ideas and theories in practical artistic work or in developing art and media projects. Students will be able to describe and discuss ideas and processess shaping contexts relevant to the MA Art and Media Programme.
