The course is for professionals working with supply chains who would benefit from acquiring fundamental knowledge on supply chain management. It is also suitable for individuals taking a position in supply chain management and as a revision for more experienced professionals.

Course description

Increasing supply chain management and leadership skills is essential when companies need to respond more and more quickly to the prevailing situation and new circumstances. This course will give you an understanding of the fundamentals of supply chain management. After the training, you will be familiar with the basic terms, principles, and main frameworks and it will be easier to build your knowledge. 

The Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management online course consists of four modules. Each module includes a short thematic presentation, a video lecture, a reflection and reading assignment and, finally, a summary with key lessons. The modules include themes like the essentials of supply chain, vertical integration, push and pull strategies, and frameworks. 

You can test your knowledge before the modules with a pre-assignment. After you have completed all the modules, you will go through a summary of the whole course. You will then take a final test to make sure you have learned the essentials of the course. After completing the final test, you will receive a course certificate. 

Completing the entire course takes about 5–10 hours, depending on how quickly you complete the tasks included in the modules.
